The Prado's 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine delivers 120 kW of power at 3400 r/min and torque of 400 Nm at 1600-2800 r/min. Or, go bigger with a robust 4.0 litre petrol engine transmitting 202 kW of power at 5600 r/min and 381 Nm torque at 4400 r/min. Raw 4WD power combines perfectly with precision and ground breaking technology like Multi-Terrain Select (MTS)*, Vehicle-Stability Control (VSC), Crawl Control*, Hill-Assist Control (HAC), Trailer-Sway Control (TSC), Electric Centre and Rear Diff Lock* and Active Traction Control (ATRC). *Available on selected models

Choose between Rock; Rock and Dirt; Mogul; Loose Rock; and Mud and Sand settings, and handle unpredictability with maximum efficiency. As conditions change, the Multi-Terrain Monitor* is there to help you confirm your outdoor surroundings and check blind spots with front, side, and rear cameras. The Multi-Terrain Monitor is automatically displayed on the navigation display in accordance with your chosen MTS mode. *Available on selected models

Scope your Surroundings

An additional Panoramic View Monitor (PVM)* also gives you a full scope of your surroundings using all four cameras when you need a bird's-eye perspective. Using the panoramic view and wide front-view display simultaneously further enhances driving safety, allowing you to easily confirm that you are clear on both sides and in front of your vehicle before entering a blind intersection. *Available on selected models

Modern Exterior

The formidable new front gets a unified design, true to the look and feel of the Land Cruiser series. The bumper is robust to protect the power unit, with kick-up detailing on the lower corners and a skid plate-like design in the centre to increase manoeuvrability. The Land Cruiser Prado looks ready to take on anything with an athletic and dynamic stance, enhanced by a raised bumper and imposing 18-inch wheels (17-inch wheels on the TX models).
